2012 Chevy Camaro supercharger appears in video
camaro5.com released a video with a sequence of shots of a camouflaged Chevrolet Camaro circulating on public roads and being evaluated at the Nürburgring in Germany. According to international media, the vehicle in question is a sporty configuration of the model, called Z28.
Besides the typical sound of propellant large displacement V8 Camaro issued by the filming, you can hear, among 1mi25s 1min28s and video, the noise generated by a supercharger belt (supercharger), implying that the model has the prpoulsor LS7 block used in 6.2 supercharged Corvette ZR1.
In the Corvette, the supercharged V8 6.2 driver is set to produce 638 bhp and 83.5 lb.-ft. of torque, while the Cadillac CTS-V the same unit is responsible for producing "only" 556 bhp and 76.2 lb.-ft. of force. Chevrolet does not disclose any information about the Camaro in question.
