2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 : adult fun
For the new 1200 Aprilia Dorsoduro has developed a new two-cylinder V-engine with 96 kW/130 hp. All around the Italians have done a racy fun bike look, and in the rare version for 12 799 euros even attract an ABS and a standard traction control. Thus, the Aprilia Dorsoduro Funbike concept is coming of age, even if the previously offered 750 already spread pure driving pleasure.
But the 1200s has reduced the on the essential design with a narrow seat, and the minimalist silhouette on without too much plastic in the Supermoto-style, gets enough due to angular lateral air intakes and modern style handguards a brutal touch. Eye-catcher for themselves are the modern-GitterrohrgeƤst composite steel frame, with the light metal castings around the motor and the side lying-shock with yellow spring, which gives a technical look. As a successful contrast a golden upside-down fork is emblazoned on the front.
The heart of the Hunter road is the newly developed liquid-cooled 90-degree V-engine with nearly 1 200 cc, an aggregate of-the-art design with four valves per cylinder, dual overhead camshafts and fuel injection. This not only creates significant pinion 96 kW/130 hp maximum power and torque of 115 Nm bearish, but it is the form of presentation, which makes this engine so successful. The extra wide usable torque, starting at 2500 rpm more than usable thrust, the fleshy center is to speed that can impress. Although it is tough not necessarily around the top - in this case the pressure dominates over the revving.
