European-sized hatchback segment premium will increase this autumn with a new member. Thus, big names like BMW 1 Series and Audi A3 will have to fight with a Japanese launch this spring in Geneva. Lexus is about TC, Japanese hatchback that promises a revolution in its segment, the first such hybrid option.
According to preliminary information, although it will launch in autumn, the first copies will go to owners only in spring 2011. To be able to register on the waiting list, interested persons should know that the new CT price starts at 30,000 euros and can reach up to 40,000 euros.
The starting price is pretty steep because, first, compact Lexus will only be available in hybrid version CT200h, intending to steal customers in a series of models and variants A3 2.0 TDI and 120d.
